Amanda & Mowgli Pierlas opened Arabella Casa Di Pasta in February 2014 as a small pop-up in the back of a wine bar. The idea was simple: fresh, handmade pastas, a few delicious sauces & healthy proteins to add into any dish. The concept of "build your own" pasta bowls took off immediately and within 4 months, they opened in their forever home at 2258 St Claude ave in the Marigny. The focus has always been the food: Organic chicken, grass-fed beef, non-GMO flour, locally sourced seafood and produce etc. The real challenge has been convincing the public that clean eating doesn't mean you have to limit yourself to salads and a bowl of raw vegetables. Furthermore, you don't have to break the bank to get full. When folks dine in they get a healthy portion of 80's and 90's pop culture, comic books and more Star Wars toys than any adult should admit they own (they're not dolls, they're action figures)! It's a place that brings together great food, wine, signature cocktails and that chill vibe that makes you feel right at home. A place where guests proudly pose with their empty bowls for a "I ate the whole thing!'' post on social media. Come for the food, stay for the D&D campaign you just started!
